"Dear All Superspeedway.net Members,
I’d first like to say Thank You for all your support throughout all of our projects at superspeedway.net.
The site that we ran was something that I’m very proud of.
Initially, when we started Superspeedway.net it was with the intent to tweak the AI in NASCAR Racing 2003 Season.
We have done that and more, and I really couldn’t be more pleased.
I’d personally like to thank all of the admins for their hard work and support throughout Superspeedway.net’s run. I feel that friendships were gained that will always stay with me.
I’d also like to thank everyone that has either helped the site on a project, or taught me something personally. Guys like Maxxspeed, Mercohaulic, RickMastFan76, Fireball, AppleJ6, Methyl Ethyl, James76, Landon Harrison, Ben Jeffreys, JD Laird, Tyler Dalton, Denis Rioux, David Smith, Jan Kohl, King D.A. , Scott Stockton, (The Whole Pits Gang)
There are really too many people to name, but I sincerely appreciate everyone.
If you had a conversation with me, about a particular project or even what you might want a particular mod to look like – Thank You.
It’s that passion that will keep NR2003 Stronger than Ever.
As far as my future is concerned, I’m truly tired and disgusted over the politics with the NR2003 Community.
It is without a doubt the reason why this site is closed – I just can’t stomach the disdain anymore.
I’m sure the creative team will still be in the community, just less public.
Thank You,
John Johnston
