Drivers In Race NamesAs has been mentioned before, to assist in the RPM scoring drivers should be racing under the same name they registered with on the OLR client..
This means in your player info screen, player (you) should have NO first name and last name be whats listed below
The following drivers should be racing under these names in game...
Hemric,M = M_Hemric or M Hemric
Peters = C_Peters or C Peters
Rayner = E_Rayner or E Rayner
Smith = D_Smith or D Smith
Please make these necessary changes as you ran under different names in last weeks race...
Thanks much !!

I got question about the names. last night after the race i copied and pasted my player name Mike Scott to my desktop. Then went in to the nr2003 layer folder and the info and changed name to Mike_Scott like you said I needed to. Then I went into ORL it worked fine. Then tried to put the Mike Scott folder back in the players folder and it asked did I was to replace the Mike_Scott Folder with Mike Scott so I did not do it I canceled it.
What this tells me is Mike_Scott and Mike Scott is seen by ORL as the same name.
When we first did ORL I signed in ORL and forgot to switch form my ECT Mike Scott name and ORL over rode the ECT name and made it Mike Scott and I have been using it every since.
I have it Mike_Scott now.
Also if people are signing in and when they get in game they dont have car number it is cause ORL made the right name and takes all the settings even car you selected back to ground zero. I did that a few times to test it and it put all settings back to ground zero every time.

This is very probable far as I can tell...

So even though you registered with OLR as Mike_Scott it created a new player as no first name and last name as Mike Scott (with a space) correct ?

When you go into a race server for the first time in OLR it looks in your game for a player name that matched what you registered at OLR with... If it does not find that player name it creates a new player and yes reverts those settings back to "ground zero" (needs calibration, shows default autochats, sounds, graphics, aids, etc).
It's very important that drivers who race in multiple leagues and race under different names (or variations) go into the game first and be sure the proper player name and multiplayer carfile is chosen before launching the server from the OLR client
Please remember this is a transition period for everyone here, admins included. We are (and have been) able to overide the race exports in RPM (scoring software) to have everyone properly scored. We know getting everyone "up to speed" is gonna take a lil time, we just don't want to be editing race results all season long. This will all get "ironed out" soon with everyones cooperation, patience, and understanding...

Yes Doug it created the Mike Scott name with a space and that is what I have been using I just copied my settings from my ECT name.
After I changed it last night to Mike_Scott I left it as that because that is what you said I needed to do.

If you have your name with a space and its supposed to have an underscore I know you can still get in to OLR but will it throw the points off and see you as an unknown player if your name doesn't have the underscore in it?
