New server INI testing tonightTonight we want as many people to test an updated Core.ini that allows for more bumping and grinding without getting sent to the wall. You still can not define the Law of Physics as AJ Shoe would say, which means if you still get under someone and clip their quarter panal, you will still send them around....but you can beat a little more door to door, and the connections actually seem a bit better. We will do this in the OLR Client Pickup Arena.
Heres what you need to do:
You must change a few lines in your core.ini file located in the main nscar racing 2003 Season folder.
Heres how I do as personal preferance
Right click my core.ini file--then I choose "copy'
Now I right click again in an empty spot below all the other files and folder, and this time I choose "paste"
You will have a new file created with a name "copy of core.ini
Now what I do is right click again on the main core.ini file, choose "rename", and ad ORG to the file name..so I end up with coreORG.ini. Now I can rename the new one created to core.ini.
When I want to switch them back, I will rename the core.ini to corefixed.ini, then go and rename the original one back by simply removing the ORG.
If creating a new one and moving to another folder, and then back is up to you, I personally find it easier this way........
Last thing...all you need to do is update the new core.ini file...the one you want to use for the new and better connection.
Just delete the entire section called [communication]
and replace with what I have put below, and save it..change no other section in the file...below can be copied and pasted.

We will try and get started around 7:30 PM tonight, and run different tracks to test...and we will use excel teamspeak, and NR2003
One last important server issue:
I actually have 3 PU servers running, but the only one that will be updated for this test, is the 4 servers called 176-0 thru 176-3
The other 2 servers with names V1E1 and V3E3 will not have this update.

the only problem may be the teamspeak communication....
I posted this on OLR forum also, so we might need all the excel guys to just use OLR TS..which may be easier for everyone.
If we do, the easiet way to connect is thru the OLR Client TS drop down in the upper right hand corner....you might not go in as a registered member....but who really cares for this...but your default nick name in TS will still be showing.
