OMT Penalty Point SystemEach time a driver causes an incident during a race, they will be scored 1 Penalty Point (PP) for contact caution or .5 Penalty Point (PP) for self spin caution (providing no other cars are involved)
Everyone starts the season off with 0 Penalty Points
For each incident a driver receives either .5 or 1 Penalty Point (depending on said incident)
To clear a Penalty Point a driver must complete their next race without an incident (unless they suffer mechanical failure or are involved in anothers incident)
If a driver reaches 4 Penalty Points they will be parked for one race in this series
1 Penalty Point shall then be cleared bringing that driver down to 3 Penalty Points
In summary:
Contact Caution +1 PP
Self Spin (No Contact) +.5 PP
Run A Clean Race = -1 PP
Accumulate 4 PP = Parked For One Race
