I am doing this to assist drivers who might not have a gaming rig or a video card that can produce the higher fps that some others can..
I've noticed that alot of drivers who sim race have 3, 4 and even sometimes 5 meg files..
Although it can make for some nice eye candy, it can take a toll on framerates when you have 30+ trucks in a race on some peoples PCs ..
What I've done is take all of this seasons GTTS trucks and compress them down (using winmip for anyone curious how) to a more reasonable file size and zipped them into this current truckpack...
If you are running an onboard or entry level video card on your PC consider this option...
Just download and unzip the file and place the contents in your papyrus/nascar racing 2003 season/series/ncts09/cars folder
Choose yes to overwrite the existing (uncompressed) car files and your all set..
